Pasadena’s Bungalow Heaven

UPDATE: With coronavirus restrictions the yearly Bungalow Heaven Tour event has been cancelled until April 2021.

I love this time of year when you can tour Pasadena’s Bungalow Row. It’s a collection of homes in a 16 Block radius that were mostly built in the Arts and Crafts period of the early 20th Century. It’s also one of my favorite styles of architecture. Homes built with a natural flow and open floor plans that took the connection of nature into account, using natural and native materials in its structures. Bungalow Heaven was listed as a Natural Register of Historic Places in 2008 by The Department of the Interior and California Register of Historical Resources. If you’re a lover of architecture, like I am, it is worth your time for sure to make a trip to Pasadena for an afternoon. Here's a link to Bungalow Heaven if you want more info.
